Kamsie Child Safety Policy
Draft — effective on launch Last updated: October 15, 2026
Kamsie is an adults-only service (18+). We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAM
The following are strictly prohibited, in Drops, live rooms, live watching, messages, profiles, handles, and anywhere else on the Service:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind — photographic, video, illustrated, computer-generated, or AI-generated depictions of anyone under 18 in a sexual context.
- Sexualised content involving minors in any form, including sexual discussion of or with a minor, solicitation of a minor, grooming behaviour, or arranging to meet a minor for any sexual purpose.
- Any attempt to use Kamsie to identify, contact, or locate minors.
2. Adults only, enforced
- Every account holder must confirm a date of birth showing they are 18 or older during onboarding. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are terminated.
- We do not knowingly permit minors to use Kamsie, market to minors, or collect data from minors. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we delete the account and its data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and we preserve and report material as required by this policy and the law.
- Users can report a suspected minor's account in the app or at safety@kamsie.app [placeholder — confirm mailbox].
3. Detection and response
- Suspected CSAM and child-exploitation violations result in immediate permanent account termination and removal of the associated content.
- We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, and cooperate with law enforcement requests as the law requires or permits.
- We preserve relevant records (account data, content, and technical logs) for reporting and legal process, for the period required by law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and our safety retention schedule, even where the account has otherwise been deleted.
- We may use automated detection, hash-matching, and human review to identify violations, including on live content and reports, recognising that live ephemeral media limits what any system can catch — which is one more reason this platform is adults-only and rooms and Drops carry report and block tools in the moment.
4. Reporting
- In the app: use the report action on any person, Drop, room, or message. Reports concerning child safety are prioritised.
- By email: safety@kamsie.app [placeholder — confirm mailbox].
- Directly to NCMEC: report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
5. No appeals on the merits
Child-safety bans are permanent and are not reversed on appeal, except for demonstrable factual mistakes (for example, the wrong account was actioned). Preserved records are retained as Section 3 describes regardless of account status.
