Kamsie Accessibility Statement
Draft — effective on launch Last updated: October 15, 2026
Kamsie is a live product, and live products owe everyone the same minute. We aim for the Website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we build the app against the accessibility guidance of its platforms.
What we do today
- The Website is fully usable by keyboard, with visible focus states, semantic landmarks, and text alternatives for imagery. Its interactive demos are labelled, and the Pulse demo describes itself honestly as a demo.
- The Website and app use a high-contrast ink-on-paper palette, respect reduced-motion settings where the platform exposes them, and use text that scales with your system font size rather than fixed-size images of text.
- The app uses the platform's text scaling and standard touch targets, and its core flows (sign-in, Pulse, rooms, Keeps) do not depend on colour alone — live state is always also shown in words.
Known limits, said plainly
Kamsie's core content is live camera video, which cannot be captioned or described before it happens. Live rooms are voice-and-presence experiences. We know this excludes some people from some moments, and we treat accessibility improvements to live features — captions, transcripts, and richer non-visual presence — as real product work, not decoration. This statement will be updated as that work ships.
